Eidolon question

Wolfx

Well-known member
I have the Don't restrict companion races and the Advanced players guide checked, but when I open the companion page and try to select the "race", Eidolon isn't available. Every other race is available except that one.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks

Aric

Could you give me a little more information? Like what classes/archetypes your character has, or the portfolio perhaps?

DO NOT use "Don't Restrict Companion Race" with Eidolons. It is bugged for animal companions and eidolons.

So you are saying to turn that off if I want eidolons and animal companions?

As for further information;

The character is a standard gnome summoner with no archetypes for race or class.

New question.

It shows I have 1 of 3 natural attacks (2 available). How/where do I go to select the additional attacks? I have selected all available evolutions. I choose biped with slam.

Thanks for any help.

Did turning off "Don't restrict companion races" fix your first issue?

Adding additional attacks is done through adding evolutions for them. You do not have to use all available (so your current build that has 2 left is just fine), but exceeding the maximum is not allowed.

Turning off the "Don't restrict companion races" did fix my first issue. All the eidolon "races" were available.
