Editor - Vehicle Helper

I used the editor to add a drone from a newer sourcebook. Under Vehicles, it said to enter the stats as a Vehicle thing, and then create a Vehicle Helper thing with cost, availability, etc. In HL, I can add the drone to a character with the correct price and availability, but none of the stats show up. What do I need to do to the Helper thing to know which Vehicle thing's stats to use? The lack of documentation hasn't allowed me to self-help on this one. Any assistance available? Thanks in advance.
