Okay, I've been reading the wiki, searching around, and testing different things, and there's a couple of things that I have questions about that I can't seem to find an answer for.

I created a new data file, and have been creating edges, powers, drawbacks, etc.

-- If I create a "New Source" and select it for each item, does that mean it will only load if the user selects that source when starting a new portfolio? Will it "buy me" anything else?

-- When creating from a copy, I see some Containerreq tests are "source.Explorers", what is this for? I've left it because when I tried changing to the source noted previously, it failed compilation.

I've noticed a few things I think are bugs, but I'm not sure, it might be my understanding...for instance, if I create a new edge from a copy of Brave, under Edit Expression Requirements, it indicates a Spirit d6 is required, but the expression says "#trait[attrSpi] > 3" Shouldn't that be 6? Other edges have the expression match the requirement, so I presume this is a error in the SW data file (and now I wish I noted each one to report it.)

The only way I have been able to get rid of the Containreq is to copy and paste and leave that out of the thing I copy and paste. Doing it that way, instead of just trying to copy it straight. Allows you to save it and doesn't fail the compilation. usually I open to hero labs and copy and paste like that. If you leave that in, it wouldn't show up unless you have the explorers edition checked. Hope this helps you.

It seems to treat die size as equal to half the maximum roll. At least that's the way the Dodge prereq is listed, too, and when I tested it on my XCOM datafile, it seemed correct.

The reason for the half-die value is explained in the Wiki, but basically it makes a bunch of other things a lot easier.

When creating a "New Source" it should ask you to name what that source will be. Once you've done it once (you may need to hit that "Test" button to force it in) you should see that source listed for anything else you try to create. Yes, your players will need to select that source in their Character Configuration screen. What that buys you is the same as selecting any setting. It keeps your setting-specific things for your setting. It helps keep things well organized to make sure things to but up against change you want and what exists in other settings or in the base rules.

On the Containerreq thing, feel free to just delete the text in it on those and they will save with removing it. All that those do is set things up as another way of allowing or disallowing something in other settings. So when it shows !source.Explorers that means that is the Explorers source is selected then don't show that thing. So just another way to show or not show things.

It's doesn't always work with just deleting it, Sometimes you have to copy and past. I found that out when I was making the Judge Dredd files. it wouldn't work until I copy and pasted and left the containreq out of it. It would fail the compilation until I did it the way I said. Like there is something in the code itself. Not sure.
