Editing Pre Existing Items

New member
New to Hero Lab so if an answer to this has already been posted I was unable to find it and apologize.

Trying to edit items that have no description in 4e (and pathfinder) I am able to copy but then I have two entries with same name, example::mad:

Dirty Fighting (Feat) after downloading all info from DDI it has no description.

I would like to just edit these items by adding the description(s) from the rule books without adding "custom or user file":)

Can this be done with the editor or will I need the Authoring Kit?

Thanks

Solved: For what ever reason the first time I downloaded DDI and the numerous hours it took, the computer choose not to retain the information. After another grueling download all the information is there.:):)

Thanks for looking

P.S.
One would think that with the money WoTC makes on it's DnD products they could afford a faster server.

Sometimes the D&D Compendium seems to go slightly wrong and not give you description text for some feats or powers. Generally you can fix it by waiting a day and trying the download again, as you discovered. :)
