Are there any plans to make any data files for this setting when it's officially released (I'm a kickstarter backer)?
 
Yeah, I already posted here and on the Hero Lab Savage Setting Index thread stickied on this forum (and down in my signature below, even!) that I'll be working on it. I have the files I just haven't actually started on it yet. I'll make it available and announce that here once I submit it to Lone Wolf for review, with the understanding, of course, that that version will be completely unofficial until the review is complete and LWD makes it available through the standard update channel. I do appreciate feedback for those that will try the version I send in, though, since there's always something that I miss or typo.

I'll be sure to post here when I have it ready and you can just PM me then to get it. :) Give me at least a couple of weeks, though. It's been a bit busy lately and hard to fit in some decent chunks of time to work on it.
 
How about Nova Praxis for Savage Worlds, any takers?

I'm familiar w/ building a ruleset, but I've never used the editor, just editing XML files.

zalor, do you mainly/only use the editor, or do you do a lot of XML editing using a text editor?

I primarily work in the Editor and then mess with the XML file mostly just to search for potential errors, do any bulk updates of minor things and otherwise make sure things like pre-requisites are sorted properly. To be honest I just find it easier to work in the Editor and it's a good way to keep things well organized since it breaks things down in to Tabs for you already. But if you prefer working in XML I don't see anything wrong with doing it that way. Personally I think I'd end up missing more things that way where the Editor provides me with some forms of reminders of things to look at or add or whatever.

As for Nova Praxis, it's not a Pinnacle setting so I couldn't do it as an "official" release, but in any case I don't have the setting anyway. Probably the best place to ask for settings, though, is in the Savage Setting Index thread or maybe starting a new thread. There might be someone willing to do it.
 
I only have the Fate version, but have never played it because no one around where I live plays Fate. Which bums me out because it seems to be a nice systems, but oh well. if the savage worlds version will be just as good as the Fate version. It's going to be nice.
