Duplicating a Topic/Copying a Smart Image

I've got a image of a galaxy and want to have two versions of it within the same topic(s). (Well I have three versions at different resolutions, split between the whole galaxy, 4 quadrants, and 9 sectors to each quadrant.) Ideally, the sector maps will have two versions, one with grid-lines, and one without. (Actually, if there was a way to overlay grid-lines and numbering, I wouldn't be posting this, but that's another thread...)

I want to put lots of pins that link to star system topics, and then copy that map, but can't copy the image within RW at the moment, or duplicate the topic, but the pins don't carry over in the smart image. :(

I'm talking about 3600 pins over 32 images. I can obviously place the pins in the copy images, but...

Does anyone know a work around?

(Actually, as I plan to have alternate time-lines interacting, there would be maybe twice the amount of pins.)

Aside: Did you write up a bug report? I would expect the pins to duplicate with the rest of the Topic.

I don't have much to say on the main topic; I haven't done much with Smart Images and their pins. You can't duplicate snippets yet, so you're mostly stuck there. You might want to suggest letting people attach multiple images to the same Smart Image snippet. That'd allow for things like GM versions of a map without overly duplicating everything.

I did send a bug report, and have a quick reply.

The pins get duplicated all right, but in the original image. So there will be two pins in the same place. This is not intentional. :)

Will be fixed in the next release. Yay!
