Dual Monitor Support/Suggestion?

I was wondering if CV will/can support dual monitors? I have my settings to try and force windows to open on the same window as the application, however Card Vault seems to insist opening at the center of the screen. This is right between the two monitors (so to speak) and makes it difficult to read. I would move the window but it seems like not all windows are moveable.

Could cardvault be made to open dialog windows at the same location as the last one was opened or at the center of the application dimensions?

Sincerely,

Michael Cox

Card Vault saves and restores its position and state (whether it's
maximised or not) whenever you close it. It sounds quite odd to me that it
continues to open itself in the center of the screen; is the size restored
correctly, or does that go back to the default 800x600 as well? The first
time CV opens it will by default (IIRC) center itself, but after that it
should stay where you put it.

What configuration do you have the monitors in? From what you say above,
you imply that it's:

[ 1 ][ 2 ]

Is that correct?

Does that include all the dialog boxes? I am not at work (where I have dual
monitors - still waiting for my home monitor to die before I get 2 monitors
here) so I can not double check it, but it was a dialog box that prompted me
to email about Dual Monitors.

The app loads up fine and in the right size.

Yes, that is correct.

All the dialogs that CV throws up, with the exception of ones that you can
move (such as the inventory, or the card details window), should always be
centered in Card Vault window. So if you move the CV window to be entirely
on one monitor, the dialog boxes should pop up entirely on that monitor. Is
that the behaviour you're seeing?

Thanks,

Nope. When I start CV, the splash screen is in the middle of the monitors (so it is centered on my desktop). CV goes to monitor 1 (left) and fills that entire window. The "Select the game system" box is in the same place as the splash screen. The filter cards on the deck tool is also centering on the desktop and not the application. Card Details is on the application monitor (not centered but not overlapping to the other monitor).

This could be my graphic card or something. It is a crappy Radeon VE in a crappy DELL Precision 340. Other applications (PrimalScript for instance) do the same sort of thing.

Thanks!

Sincerely,

Michael Cox

Hmm.... ah, you have Card Vault maximised? Try restoring it (so that it's
not maximised, but it still takes up all of monitor 1) - do you still have
the same problem?

That opens the dialog boxes just fine! Much better.
