druid wildshape issue

building a L11 druid with the wildshape ability to turn into a dire tiger. He has armor and shield but they both have the "wild" enhancement that allows the bonus to convey to the wildshape creature. however, when i have the wild shield equipped, my claw attacks do not show up when in tiger form. if i remove the shield, i have claw attacks. the wild enhancement should allow for shield bonus to be used along with claws when in animal form.

is this a bug? or is it stated somewhere that even a "wild" shield can;t be used in animal form?
