Hi Hero Lab Team,

While we are all scrambling to replace the missing content not included in the SRD (that you would have just scrambled to remove) I wonder if it's possible for us to use the full 5e rules within the restrictions applied by WOTC.

They have provided http://www.dmsguild.com/ and advised that content hosted here can included references to:

Your work can use any of the fifth edition D&D rules published by Wizards of the Coast, plus decades of published material for the Forgotten Realms setting.

The company that hosts dmsguild has previously hosted addons for applications (example) and i was unable to find any restriction on the content guideline that would stop us from doing so.

Given Hero Labs is your software however would hosting here break your regulations?

What is your opinion on this? Can this be used as a work-around to provide the full rules in the format of community files?

I imagine this would be great for your business given the noise being generated over the lack of content due to the SRD and also provide another location to advertise your product that will assuredly attract a large % of D&D 5e players.

Huh, that's an interesting question. I suspect that this might fall afoul of their "Create, don’t copy" rule, but I'm not sure - we'll look into this and see what's possible. Thanks for the suggestion!
