Also note Inquisitor lord and elite inquisitor transport option land raider
comes up as a heavy choice instead of being a transport option for either one.
The orbital strike is marked as a heavy choice but does not show up as taking
one of the heavy slots.

By chance did this happen after you upgrade to AOL 8.0?

Could you be more specific, as in what version of the file and the
nature of the error, as in missing, wrong price, conflict etc. Current
version on the website is 2.3, my current working version is 2.3.3.

Cheers

The landraider was fixed in 2.3.2. Unfortunately only 2.3 is available
on the website at present. Latest version is 2.3.3, if you want a copy
let me know and I'll email it to you. I'll look into the orbital strike
and fix that as well since I've not picked that up before.

Sorted, although the orbital strike unit was assigned to the heavy
composition group, as it was set to zero it wasn't showing up. I've made
it so that when the appropriate weapon is selected it takes up a heavy
slot. This avoids it being counted as a model, which in my view it isn't
:) If any one strongly disagrees with this then let me know and the
reason why.

Actually the icnt command is used to state a maximum
number of this item which can be taken by the unit (at
least according to the help file)...It's useful for
special items which can be used by multiple units but
have a maximum count per unit...Virtually every item
in the particular army I'm writing has this command as
each model/unit can't repeat weapons...

Nope, I don't use AOL.

OK. My mistake. I misunderstood the meaning. Given that it is Item Count
then your approach should work.

We just got back from GenCon tonight and found that the licensing/updates
server was dead as a doornail. It turns out we had a major power outage on
Saturday here in our office that far exceeded the two-hour backup power
supply on the server. Since we were out of town, the server couldn't be
re-started until we got back. All should be working smoothly again.

Sorry for the inconvenience,
Rob

I can get to the site without any problems. Try the "Go To File" button at
the bottom of the Updates list within Army Builder when the 40K files are
selected. That's how I got to it.

Hope this helps,
Rob

Use the Locate File button on the Select Game System dialog OR use the View
Updates button in the upper right corner of the menu bar. Then select the
40K data files and click the Download button. This will retrieve the latest
40K data files and offer to import them into your system. For complete
details, I recommend reviewing the User Manual and/or Tutorial, since they
outline all the specifics and provide examples.
