Subject: Stargrunt builder....help?
Hi there, I hope someone out there uses AB for making Stargrunt
rosters. I tried contacting the author of the SGfiles, but email is
not valid anymore.
I only recently got involved with SG2 and after initially being
disgusted with the orginization of the rulebook I really enjoy the
game. So I found out about Armybuilder, downloaded it and started
making rosters for SG2. Some questions arise now.
For instance, you can attach a heavy weapon to a squad. I presume
this is a supportweapon, since some weapons you can choose from are
listed in the rulebook as such. There are many more tho, and in the
rulebook a difference is made between heavy weapons and support
weapons. So can anyone tell me which is ment?
Now, if heavy weapons in AB are actually supportweapons, why can't I
select several HW's in my squad? According the rules this is legal
and possible, as is confirmed at several FAQsites. I have changed
this option, so I can choose more HW's, but maybe I'm missing
something, I like to be sure.
Another thing; in AB you can attach a special weapon to a squad. I'm
not sure what this is, I cannot find this term in the rules. It
looks like terrorweapons, but is this really it?
