Well I just tried this and only had a single stat and got rid of the options
column, but both the Available Unit and Unit Name columns remained where
they were. Unfortunately this prevents long unit names from displaying
properly.

Subject: Setting Limits

Hi

Can anyone help me with the following:

1) is it possible to set a max on two or more units, so that, for
instance, there can be 3 units in total made from a combination of 2
different units?

2) can I set a max on two units where only one unit can be selected
in an army? Eg: there is a max of 3 units but this can be either unit
1 or unit 2 but not a mix of both?

Thanks!

Pete

Try using type and the trat race attribute.

The size of the name doesn't increase much, but it does increase a bit (and
of course there's more space if you're running at a higher resolution) when
you decrease the amount of space the stats take up. What sort of names are
you having problems with? I know the Babylon 5 Wars files have Issues with
ship names being too long at 800x600, but once you get up to 1024x768 or
higher they're fine.

Thanks - I'm using this syntax:

tlmt:rec-unit=2@max

To restrict the type 'rec' to 2 per 1000pts but it only objects to 2 of the
same unit rather that 2 of the same type (ie: I have four units within the
rec type category) - any ideas?

Pete

Hmmmm sorry abouty that... try this
ulmt:type=Rec-max@unit=2
