That makes perfect sense. Thanks for the help!
Could I get you (or anyone!) to assist with another problem?
The file I'm working on is for an ancient naval warfare rule set. The rules
specify that certain ships can make up a percentage of your fleet. For
example, a Roman fleet can consist of 20% Heavy Quadriremes. I used the
following attribute to restrict the number of Heavy Quadriremes that can
appear in a Roman fleet:
tlmt:heavyquad-pct=20@max
The problem is that the above attribute allows for 20% based on the point
total, not based on the number of models (which is what I need). Is there
anyway to restrict the number of certain unit based on the percentage of
models being used?
Thanks in advance!!!

I just downloaded the army builder and i found a rule that they might
have missed. I play warhammer fantasy and i found when you pick the
lizardmen and choose a unit of saurus cold one riders that it says
that you get the hand weapon and shield bonus but that rule is not
supposed to work with calvary.

I think the reason nobody else replied to this is that it isn't possible...
I spent a few minutes trying to work out a way to do it, and came up with
nothing. Sorry

I figured as much. I've been playing around with it for a while and
couldn't come up with a solution. I kept thinking that with as much
flexiblity as AB offers, it must be possible. However, it must not be a
very common occurence in rule sets.
Thanks for the reply!

Actually, I think you CAN do this. Assign all Heavy Quadriremes the type
"HvyQuad". Then use "trat" to verify the ratio between HvyQuad and
non-HvyQuad. If you specify to use models as the basis of the ratio, you
should be able to achieve your 20% limit.
Hope this helps,
Rob

More than likely, you have installed something new on your computer that
has overwritten a system DLL with a buggy one OR that has spliced itself
into the operation of applications (e.g. some virus checkers and other
system-level things may do this). The problem is definitely external to AB,
since you state that it just started happening after working correctly.
What have you recently installed on your computer? This question ought to
help you isolate the culprit and either (a) remove it, (b) disable it while
running AB, or (c) get an updated version that doesn't cause this problem.
