Subject: Automatic Updates through a Proxy Server
A few months back I asked about getting updates through a proxy server, and was told that it wasn't possible. This was appearantly incorrect, at least if you are using Microsoft Proxy Server.
Go to the advanced tab of Internet Explorer's options and check the box that reads "Use HTTP 1.1 through proxy connections.". Then start up Armybuilder, and do an update check. Low and behold, it works. The notification of updates, as well as the download of updates will funtion through a proxy connection.
This solution works with Microsoft Proxy Server version 2.0. I am not sure of other servers, but it is worth a try if you are suffering from this affliction.
Cheers,

Subject: Running AB on a Small network
Hello,
I was wondering if someone could help me. I have a small network in my house
and I have 2 PC's one for everyday use (A) and one I use for storage (B). I
have been able to install AB from B's CD rom to A. But, when I try to run it
on A in runs it in demo mode. Is there any ways to run it from A while the
CD is in B.
Thanks
Ray

You could try to map a drive (say E
to the CDROM on B, but it probably won't work. As far as I know, the CD has to be in a local drive.
