I found something - type:???-child is processed before items, so, if you
have placeholder units to store your items, it will work.

The problem is that Items (and therefore Tweaks) are processed
before options. That's why the option types make no difference...

I'm not aware of another way of doing it other than the one you have
already suggested (which is what I had to do for the Battletech
files...) :-(

Mind you, if you think of some ingenious (devious perhaps?) method,
I'd be more than happy to hear about it :-)
