I'm assuming you used White to make the rosters in the first place?
Hmm... unless AB actually changes rosters it can't read in, I can't see
why they shouldn't work as they used to. :(

I'm not entirely sure what AB does when it saves things. However, I'm
afraid that importing new files will often make your old saved rosters
not work, because things have been changed. :( I'm going to attempt to
make this stop happening in future.

It's easy. Just link the BlackGD option to the Guardian Crew unit
(assuming you want the extra BS and not WS). It'll also make it count as
a Black Guardian unit for the purpose of the 'All compulsory units must
be black guardians' rule.

>Thanx ever so much for such a fine service.

Thanks!

Hmm... it's Dr McAlister now, is it? :)

Sounds like you're using an old version of Army Builder. Try upgrading
to v1.4d, does that help?

It would help if people reported these things, instead of just going
back to the previous version...

I'll release an update which fixes these ASAP. Sorry :( Law of
unintended consequences strikes again :(

Thanks Jimi, very interesting indeed!

Apologies to Colen for re-vamping the Sniper story, I only recently
started getting this sent to me via email and must have missed the
previous inquisition :)

I just love the solidarity on game rulings from GW. I asked the Perth
(Western Australia) store and they said, "Yep, cant see any reason
why
not" :)

I guess it just means I'll have to make a note of it and check with
my
opponents before I play and keep my little mod file :) I can just see
the battlefield now ...

"You lads start shooting at the heretics"
"What are you doin' sarge?"
"Oh, cutting the oranges and getting the lemonade ready. Let me know
when it's half time or if the scumbag heretics get within pistol
range
" :)

Your assumption about the saved rosters being created with the White data
files is correct.

After removing the red files and importing the white data files, the rosters
are still reporting invalid data while reading file. From your response, I
gather this is as much a surprise to you as it was to me.

Is there any hope of recovery or should I just re-enter the rosters from
scratch?

Regards,

Brad
