They may technically be allowed to, but since the Orc equipment list
also has the sword *twice* in it, I'm not going to take it as gospel.
Orcs, and *nobody else* (apart from Dwarves, obviously) being allowed
Dwarf Axes without a word of explanation is stupid. You can add it
yourself if you want, because I'm not going to until I personally get a
signed letter with gold leaf from Tuomas Pirinin (sp?) himself.
Well, not that far. But at least a statement from one of the designers,
or in White Dwarf.

That's because it says "Storm Bolter" in the codex. Is there any
resource that says differently, and if so where is it?

A Chaos Q&A in a WD issue cleared this up - GW said it was a 'cut and paste
