One fine day in the middle of the night, DeadEye <deadtechinc@yahoo.com>
got up to write:

You are an imbecile. Read the help menu on how to import datafiles, all
should become clear. :P

This should have been fixed, I've no idea how it got off the 'to be
fixed' list.

Man, someone sure DID just get off a train after a 9-hour trip. "Imbecile"?
Please play nice or I'll have to come over there and slap you. :-P

OK, sorry. I was being silly. I'm still feeling a bit spaced out :(

[...and he replies gleefully ] Well maybe imbecile means something different over across the pond. No? Well it was a thought...

And while I'm in the neigborhood...the "magic items" screen doesn't work correctly in the 40K (Space Marines) files (unless I mis-read the rulebook...which is a distinct possibility). It lists the total number of items out of 100, whereas shouldn't it be total points worth of items out of 100 points? Now, the only Marine I found that could exceed a hundred points even was the Librarian (Chaplain too? hmm, gotta look), so it's no big deal. But I do believe it's an error...

This is a limitation of AB. AB only allows an item COUNT to be shown, so
it's set to a very safe high number. The points limits are handled via
validation rules, which are done separately. For 40K, there is no way in
V1.4 to show the number of item points remaining for a unit.

Thanks, Rob

It reports the number of items left, but enforces the number of points.

Which wargear do you use to get that?

I can handle the razzing! LOL I have been called
MUCH worse! ^_^ Hey, I have another possable problem
to bring up. The Ork Codex says I can take any
Vehicle Modifications I want from either the IG of
Marine Codex on looted Vehicles, however, the only one
available in AB is Smoke Launcher. Is that the only
modification for IG and Space Marines to their
vehicles? I thought there was others, including the
Crew escape mechanism from a past issue of WD.
