OK, I've never seen the Fairy Meat files, so I'm going to assume the
existing charcters don't have an armour stat and the new ones do so
you want to add it... If that's not the case, please be more
specific
To add a new stat to the files, you need to edit the definition file
(datadef.fm - assuming the file extension is fm). First off, you
need to turn it into a text file and to do that you need to use
abundef. The doco for it is near the end of the ConstKit.rtf file.
If the author has locked the definition file (which is fairly
standard practice), you will not be able to "undef" the definition
file which means you're stuck unless you can track down the original
author and get either the original text version of the definition
file or the password to unlock the file you currently have.
Once you have the def file in text format, just open it up in
notepad, find the existing stat definitions, copy one of the lines,
check the doco mentioned above for the meaning of all of the fields -
change the ones you need to change and then use abdef to recreate
the datadef file.
Cheers,
Russell.

Subject: Sentinel at 45 points???
Hello
I found out that in Imperal Guard 40K3, a Sentinel choosen as a Fast
Attack costs 35 points (as in the Codex) but when I choose Sentinels
to be included in a HQ choice they suddenly costs 45 points.
Have I done something wrong or is there a bug for IG?
Tommy

Just check it myself, both give 45 points as the cost, this is because the
Multi-Laser is already selected which is +10 pts, if you arm it with a Heavy
Flamer the price drops to 40 points. As you have to take one of these
weapons, and most people tend to take Multi-Laser, I guess it was selected
to speed army selection.
