Subject: White scars heavy support validation
Hi,
I've been an ablite user for some time. I just purchased the 'real'
version, however. After downloading and installing the latest
program and datafile updates, I made a 2k point white scars army as
follows:
HQ
chaplain on a bike
Elite
callidus assassin
assault termies mounted in land raider
Troops
2X 6 man bike squads with vet seargent
5 man scout sniper squad
Fast Attack
7 man assault squad with vet seargent
land speeder with multimelta
Heavy Support
3 member attack bike squad
Predator annilator w/ lascannons all around
Whirlwind
AB is returning a validation error saying that Heavy Support does not
meet the requirement of <=3 Heavy Support units. Well there are just
three Heavy Support units in this list. I would guess that the
program is incorrectly counting the land raider as a heavy support.
Can anyone verify this and/or tell me what I'm missing?
Thanks!

I may be wrong, but I don't think that any army other than Deathwing can use
LRs as transport.

The Land Raider is a Heavy Support. The reason it is there is because, in a
White Scars force, the whole army must be mobile, so Terminators MUST take a
Land Raider.

Hmmm... I will reread the White Scars article tonight after work
(unless someone has it handy). I really thought that the WS termies
could purchase a LR transport as an upgrade to the squad and that it
did not use up a slot on the FO chart. I realize that this would be
an exception to the normal space marine rules.
