Shawn answered this for you once already. The army list entry for
Kharn is worded something like this:
"A Chaos army may include Kharn as an HQ choice..."
While the entry for someone like Abbadon is worded like this:
"A Chaos army may be led by Abbadon..."
Therefore since his rules do not specifically state that Kharn may
lead your army you are still required to have another HQ choice to
lead the army.

well obviously i am suffering from insomnia and am quite bored. but thanks shawn, that reasoning does make sense but i still say its nitpicky for whatever thats worth. i guess its that small part in the chaos codex that says only the most crazed or something like that will follow him or something to that effect. i guess its one of those things open to interpretation or maybe i'll just read the codex again and get it word for word. thanks anyways and thanks to you ghazkull for indulging my computer's error

I queried that with Enrique Durand (the author) a while back and he
confirmed that he should start with 8 Exp. It just didn't get into
Town Cryer. I guess it should get corrected in the next Best of TC
compilation.

Ok ok ok... i have been musing over the idea and i will start with a
" . RTG " As in Rogue trader character generation
[which i can modify to convert stats for necro and 2nd ed]
Then go for the full blown thing of a ".RT" file. It seems the easiest way.
So this is what i need.
a) To email me in pvt so we can discuss the Personalities section
b) Some coffee
