Jester,
I would be willing to send you the necessary information as long as the
incorporated point value generation system is included as well - it's just a
method of determining the 'value' of a figure based on stats and weapon
assignments. PSI powers are also included as well as robots, walkers, etc.
This is the genesis of the current 3rd ed. point system.
Thanks,
Scott Spieker

Subject: Warmaster Battle Honors (Longish)
I was perusing the Warmaster manual last night and was looking at the Battle Honors in the, you guessed it, Battle Honors Section...LOL.
How hard would it be to add that small blip of a chart to the files? Would you have to add it to each Army section or could you make a generic file that can pop up for each unit in each army by using some type of option in the main menu?
There is no limit to the number of Honors an army can have, but Infantry and Cavalry can only have a maximum of one (1) per unit. The Battle Honor is considered LOST if the unit is destroyed.
Also, these are Optional rules, but used many times in campaigns or in groups that play against each other regularly
This is the Chart below (page 114):
D6
1 Guards The Unit always obeys the first order it is given each turn. No dice roll is needed to see if the order has been issued. This doesn't apply if the unit part of a larger brigade.
2 Loyal Troops If the unit is within 20cm of the General it always obeys his orders. There is no need to roll to issue the order. This doesn't apply if unit is over 20cm from General or part of a larger brigade.
3 Vicious Fighters The units Attack value is increased by +1 for the first round of each close combat. This only applies in the first round of each Combat phase but it applies throughout the entire battle.
4 Stubborn The unit automatically rolls one less dice when working out drive backs from shooting. So, a unit suffering 2 hits will roll one dice instead of two. Bonuses for defended and fortified units are cumulative, so in a defended position the unit rolls two less dice and if in a fortified position, three less dice.
5 Bushwhackers No modifier is made when issuing orders on account of the distance between the unit and character. The unit is especially proficient at behind the lines operations, scouting, and bushwhacking.
6 Hard as Nails The unit's Hit value is increased by +1. The unit is especially determined and hard to destroy.
Thanks!!!
Gene
