Hi all,
Does anyone know if there are "bits" available to upgrade models? I know you can scavenge them off other models (or players!) but does GW release such a product?
TIA, Brian

The TAU Vehical upgrade Seeker Missiles may be given to a Tank up to

That's because you're trying to add 4 set's of seeker missiles. What you
have to do, is add the seeker missile, then go over to the right pane,
highlight the seeker missile and click on the plus symbol to add more
missiles. Each one you add will alter the number of seeker missiles in
the "Item's Possessed" field.

I did that so that the roster would look like this:
Seeker Missile (Qty4)
Rather than:
Seeker Missile
Seeker Missile
Seeker Missile
Seeker Missile
Image if you had 2 hammer heads and 3 devilfish and each had 4 seeker
missiles!

Shawn,
I've noticed a small glitch in the 40K file. Under Armored Company I take a heavy weapons squad, but can not assign it a commander. Thus it doesn't validate correctly.
It's not too handicapping since I can still save and print it out, but the "validation" message gets a bit annoying.
Thanks,
Matt

Rex,
Sorry to be a bother. I have made a website with FAQ, revision history,
current known bugs and a form for reporting bugs. I had hoped this would
reduce "40k" traffic.
You may want to look into filtering '40k' in your email program. Their
should be a way to auto-delete all messages with the text '40k' in the
subject and message. I suppose it all depends on the email program.
Maybe subscribe to digest mode... (but then you'll have to sort through it
to find messages you want to read). I would recommend figuring out how to
filter the 40k.
Either way... I imagine anything related to armybuilder should be allowed in
this forum and 40k is a very popular game system using Army Builder. This
would be the most logical place for people to ask questions on how to use
Army Builder and whatever datafile set they are using. (It sure beats having
me answer *every* question about the datafiles.)

The 40K files, and to a lesser extent, the rest of the GW range of games,
have the most activity in regards to data file updates - at least from my
experience. It might be worthwhile to perhaps split off the data file bug
reports into their own egroup, and leave this one for more technical
discussions...
I read this group primarily for the bug reports

That's because you're trying to add 4 set's of seeker missiles. What you
have to do, is add the seeker missile, then go over to the right pane,
highlight the seeker missile and click on the plus symbol to add more
missiles. Each one you add will alter the number of seeker missiles in
the "Item's Possessed" field.

Shawn,
I've noticed a small glitch in the 40K file. Under Armored Company I take a heavy weapons squad, but can not assign it a commander. Thus it doesn't validate correctly.
It's not too handicapping since I can still save and print it out, but the "validation" message gets a bit annoying.
Thanks,
Matt

Subject: RE: an error in the Armored Company portion of the 40K files
The 40K files, and to a lesser extent, the rest of the GW range of games,
have the most activity in regards to data file updates - at least from my
experience. It might be worthwhile to perhaps split off the data file bug
reports into their own egroup, and leave this one for more technical
discussions...
I read this group primarily for the bug reports

I am soooo sick of 40k stuff flooding my inbox from here. I subscribe to
learn more about AB and keep abreast on things not to be inindated with
10-15 (slight exageration) a day.
Sorry just had to rant there. You may continue.

I was half arsedly joking - so sorry if I offended anyone to much.

I wasn't offended.
(You do realize that you managed to increase the 40k traffic today, don't
you?
