Subject: Illegal Operation with BFG files
Hello All,
I don't often post here because I'm not much of a programmer and,
at best, I can modify files that other people work out.
The following is the details of an Illegal Operation that is
generated by AB2.2c whenever I try to select Chaos Escort ships from
the latest BFG files.
Does anyone have any ideas how to fix this? There doesn't seem
to be anything wrong with the data files...

Just getting cought up on my email/groups, I'll check out the
BFG data file and see if the problem is their. I'll let the
group know what I find. Also with the new BFG Mag out I'll be
adding them in and posting an update.

Posts #5121 & 5122 lead me to believe that the data/info for the TAU
army is now included in Army Builder. Is this true? If so, how do I
access it? I just downloaded datafiles v3.1 but cannot find the TAU.

The Tau are most definitely in ver 3.1 (they existed in ver 2.32)
You simple select their army, just like you would any other army... look
under Space Marines: White Scars and above Tyranids.
Make sure you have armybuilder ver 2.2c
try importing the files again.

Temporarily available in the ab-files yahoogroup, until I have gotten my
passwords from Rob and can put them in their proper place. Colen put my last

version.
Sorry for the inconvenience, but it is beyond my control.

Subject: Composition group limit for new race?
Is there a limit to the number of Composition Groups when creating a new
race?
I have 9 composition groups and can enter any 8 of them in the Composition
Group Rules box for a new race. Whenever I add the 9th and attempt to save I
get an error.
"Afte:any,Agen:any,Char:any,Cfli:any,Cncy:any,Enha:any,Evnt:any,Flee:any,Loc
a:any"
Deleting any one of the terms removes the error.
Am I really limited to 8, the book suggests that 12+ may be necessary for
some games so this seems like an odd explanation (although the screen
doesn't look like it wants to accomodate more than 8).
I have a handy fudge prepared, but I'd rather have 9 composition groups.

Any one race can only have 8 composition groups. You can have as many as
you like for one game, but only 8 can be used by any one race.

Army Builder Lite is not currently being made available for download. There
are no immediate plans to bring it back. It's ultimate fate is unknown at
present.
This means: You'll need to download AB2.2c and use it in demo mode if you
want to use the latest 40k files.

I'd say every 2-4 weeks, unless something REALLY important makes you
need to update sooner, like a huge bug...

Hello All,
I don't often post here because I'm not much of a programmer and,

The following is the details of an Illegal Operation that is
generated by AB2.2c whenever I try to select Chaos Escort ships from

Does anyone have any ideas how to fix this? There doesn't seem

Please make sure you also post them in the Group. I much prefer
navigating to the Files section after getting my notification e-
mail...
