What you might want to add to the Warmaster Datafile is a section for Siege Engines. Isn't there an option in the menu that can allow the Siege Section to only be displayed if selected from the dropdown menus?
This would not only save you from having to edit the Bret List again, but also allow Brets to select other Siege Engines. They can have the trebuchet in their normal army, but can use other engines except Gun Powder during Sieges. You could also add the cost for Mantlets, Earthworks, etc...Just an idea.
Once I sit down and start relearning the Construction Kit I can start helping out.
Looks like Skaven, DE, Wood Elves, and from the look at Jervis' Mini Case from Fanatic last week Greater Daemons will be coming up next.

OK--I'm working with the Inquisitor data files, and I'm getting a weird
validation error that I don't understand.
Here's the situation:
- Open Inquisitor file
- Add a character--say, for example, "Cardinal"
- click on the "Armour" child unit
- go to the Items Screen and add "Left Arm Armour" and "Right Arm Armour"
(location doesn't matter much, except for full body armour)
- on "left arm armour", select "power armour"; you should get the following
validation error message:"10.0 points allocated to units which do not belong
to valid composition groups".
It happens sporadically, and I don't understand why it happens. Any
thoughts? Not-quite-current version of Inquisitor file is available through
"updates" section of AB (but this problem has been happening consistently,
through the past several versions--I just haven't gotten around to fixing it
yet).

I am using 2.32c. I also just updated the datafiles
yesteday too.
When I update the datafiles I "save as" the old army
but it would appear that is not working and the old
list is being kept somehow.
I guess I have to recreate the army list everytime a
new datafile is released?
Thanks for the quick reply!

I'm not sure... but maybe since the datafile required vs 2.2c of AB, that

Depends on the bug. The Daemon Prince thing would probably warrant an
update, but some other problems might not require an update--for example,
I've got my inquisitor data file that gives a validation error when you
select some armour types. Doesn't impact use of the file, so I'm in no
major hurry to fix it. But the other big bug, calculating costs, was more
important to folks, so I fixed it and released the fix.
So, you'll probably want to exercise judgement. Too many updates is bad,
but if it's a major bug, I'd put out an update. Minor bugs can wait...

I know certain bugs can be really annoying (even crippling). Other times
it's not that bad...
I am wondering how often updates are desired. I understand it can be a
real
hassle to get notices of a new update everytime you open armybuilder.
But how long do you want to wait? Should their be a week between updates?
The longer I wait, the more bugs I can incorporate into a release... on
the
other hand more releases means you'll get your bug fixes sooner.
Opinions please?
Thanks,

Depends on the bug. The Daemon Prince thing would probably warrant an
update, but some other problems might not require an update--for example,
I've got my inquisitor data file that gives a validation error when you
select some armour types. Doesn't impact use of the file, so I'm in no
major hurry to fix it. But the other big bug, calculating costs, was more
important to folks, so I fixed it and released the fix.
So, you'll probably want to exercise judgement. Too many updates is bad,
but if it's a major bug, I'd put out an update. Minor bugs can wait...
