That's because it's illegal. The shuriken cannon comes from the Options
section, so the leader can't take it.

I can understand your reasoning for not releasing the Tau files, but
I am alittle disapointed. Not to get my hands on the rules for free
or anything because I will own the Tau codex I was hopping to pice a
Tau army together because I have the Box set pre-ordered and wanted
to know what I needed to pre-order to have the army I wanted. In
fact I have two armybox sets on pre-order in order to have two
broadsides and 24 firecast and 6 crisis. But, I guess I'll just
have to wait, so I guess no more check this egroup three times a
day everyday until Oct 8th

Is a 2 letter pneumonic for the race (in data files)
enough? Granted it seems to work fine in WFB. But
I am asking because WAB already has 40 distinct armies
and the next few supplements will easily triple that
number. Only having two digits per "race" is already
losing the pneumonic value of the race prefix. I imagine
some other games (historicals would be my first guess but
fantasy or sci-fi might too) already have this problem
or are not too far away from it.

I think it would be tremendously difficult to implement any change to this,
without breaking every single datafile in ever written in tremendously
damaging and irritating ways

Colen or Rob,
What are the legalities of releasing the Tau files before the codex release?
Is it okay, because it's released in the UK? Should I be waiting for the US
release.
I wouldn't mind some people with the codex to help beta-test the files

When choosing wargear for my Warbike Outrider Nob in the Kult of Speed
army that I am working on I ran in to a small problem. When choosing 'Eavy
Armour (4+ save) and Bionik Bonce (+1 to your save)...it only shows a
4+/5(u)...when it should be 3+/5(u)..
And a question, when choosing 2 hth weapons for your Nob in a warbike
outriders unit, do you get the +1 attack for 2 hth weapons? Or is it
assumed (and this is my take on it) that orks have enough problems driving
with 1 hand...let alone trying to do with none!
Thanks in advance,

I might add that the armour on all warbike nobs appears nonfunctional.
For regular Orks it just gives 6+/5+(U) when eavy armour and bionik bonce
is applied. It likes cybork armour even less and shows -/5(U)+/5(I) when
it is applied on top of those other 2 or any combination or by itself.
Kult of Speed regular warbike nobs are the same.
In summary:
'Eavy Armour and Bionik Bonce do nothing for these two nobs. The display
states at 6+/5+(U)
Cybork Armour always does this: -/5+(U) + /5+(I) when added, regardless of
other armour.
For the Outrider Warbike Nob, he starts off as 4+/5+(U). 'Eavy Armour and
Bionik Bonce do nothing in any combination, and Cybork Armour has the same
result as above.
My data files are WH40k 2.31, AB 2.2A. I know it's not the latest AB, but
that shouldn't change the data file.
