Appreciate the Reply Rob but I didnt make myself quite as clear as I
should have, which after 30 years of mainly assmebly language 'boiler
plate' programming isnt suprising.
What I want to do is list a set of weapon stats under the unit, one
to a line. Setting the Options on Seperate Lines item only works for
the user. Hopefully I'm not the only user of this army list. What I
want to do is to present them lined up in the print file. At present
the only way I see is to turn them into a type of child unit that
will display under the parent unit when printed out. Are there any
other ways of doing this? Thanks again for the reply.

Ah! That makes more sense now. :-)

You have a couple of options on handling this. You can use child units with
stat sets (as you pointed out). You can implement the weapons as items that
are attached via the "take" option attribute. OR, and probably the easiest,
you can assign each option the "apnd" attribute. This way, each weapon will
appear on its own line beneath the unit. The only limitation of this
approach is that, IF the unit has various child units, the options will all
appear after the last child unit (i.e. grouped together at the end).
Another very powerful and convenient technique is to use the "apnd:foot"
form of the attribute. This lists all the weapons used in the roster within
a single long list at the end of the roster, providing a quick reference
sheet for the units in the roster. Each unit still has each option listed
in its description, so you know which unit has what. Only the details are
placed at the end of the roster.

Hope this helps,
Rob
