Is it just me or have I noticed that I can put a Lord (Dark Elf
Assassin)in a 1000 point army. Isn't he a Lord??? AB is
consistently allowing 4 Characters in a <2000 point army.

It is allowing 4 characters because you did not select the right rules set -
please read the first screen that pops up when you select the Warhammer
Fantasy Battle files.
