You might try re-mapping your CD-ROM drive if necessary.

However, if you aren't an experienced computer user, and I do mean VERY
experienced, DO NOT try to modify your registry. You can seriously mess up
your Windows by doing so. I'm training to become a MCSE, and I DON'T mess
with my Registry.

The New BFG files are done. I just need to know how to make a
extract *.ab file for them. I've always zipped them in the past and
would like to try the new method. Can anyone assist me?

Never mind. Guess it would help if I read the DOC files that
came with AB ;)

Well, its done. The new BFG file is up on the ab-files group.

It includes all infor from BFG #1 and #2. PK and Warp Storm.
The Armageddon units, Tyranids and Necrons.

I would like to thank Hugo for building the Tyranid files
and someone made the Necron files but I lost his name and
email so thank you very much "masked stranger"

If you note any errors please let me know right away, I'll
wait a week and post the file again if I have to make any
fix'es.

Subject: WHFB version wfbv6v41 and disappearing files.

I have tried to install the latest WHFB files over the last couple of
days and have had the files disappear on me after installation. The
error message is:

failed to load data files for the following reason. Version
unrecognised in data file c:\armybuilder\data\me.wf6

It worked OK for version 3.x and was OK for ver 4.0 but when I
installed 4.1 is didn't recognise the system. I then reinstalled 3.2
and it worked fine. However when installing either 4.0 or 4.1 the
same problem started all over again.

Help.

Have you upgraded to V2.1 yet? The latest WFB data files require you have
V2.1. It a FREE update from the web-site if you have V2.0 already.

Thanks, Rob
