Not easily. What you could do is assign the type:

X12345 to a model with the stat value of 5
X12 to a model with the stat value of 2

etc., and then, if the item can only be taken by a model with a stat value
greater than 4, use:

utyp:X1234?

That's how the Clan War files do it. It works fine, unless you're allowed
to modify the stat when you're creating the roster.

Right, here we go

1. Warwalkers have armour of F -, S 10, R 13 in the
file not F 10, S 10, R 10.

2. The Models in Army, stuck at 30, not the hundred or
2 that it actually was (I was working out a 6000 point
army.

Subject: Chimera points

I'm told that the point total for the Chimera is incorrect (I don't
have the codex in front of me to verify). In Army Builder, when you
add a Chimera to a squad, it defaults to a turret mounted multilaser,
but does not add the points for such.

Second (for the IG Chimera again), it does not gray out the other
selections once a turret or hull weapon is selected (I can choose a
turret multi-laser, hvy bolter, hvy flamer, and twin linked hvy bolter
as well as a hull hvy bolter and hvy flamer all at the same time).

Lastly, let me say thanks....this is not a project I would want to
tackle and I also appreciate the quick response time you have with any
valid changes/updates that are given to you!

Hmm in my army builder the points for the Chimera is 80... 70 + 10 for the
Multilaser

It does in mine. Are you using AB 2.1 or ABLite? Also do you have the most
recent version of the 40K files?

Nope, not allowed to adjust stat at the beginning, but like mordheim
the stat can be adjusted later in the game.

Colen, I should be sending you the first installment of the Lustria
datafiles this weekend. An update will be sent as soon as I know
exactly is in TC12 so I know what to add.

Have fun!

Chris

The Chimera problem was reported a while ago and fixed quite recently. Make
sure you have the latest 40K files.

Oops....I had pulled the latest update down, but I didn't double check
to see if this corrected the points issue. Although I'm still
getting the issue with being able to select multiple turret and hull
weapons, but this may be an issue with AB Lite (I don't have the full
version in front of me right now....I'll take a look when I get home).

Sorry for the uneccessary e-mail :(

What version of AB are you running right now? And what error message
does it give, or does it just not appear on the list of game systems?

Subject: Bug Fixes for AB Dwarf Files and some others - New version posted

I have uploaded a new version of the files wfbv6v41.ab (Version 4.1 of the
files) to the ab-files files section and the direwolf_wh files section.
These files are for Armybuilder 2.1 only. Please use the handy Locate Files
ability of the Armybuilder program to download these files and import them
into your computer in the most efficient manner you can.

I have fixed:
- various data values and text problems.
- the Rune of Stone for multiple copies within the army.
- limiting 1 runic item per category.
- limiting an item to 1 Master Rune.
- made it so that BSBs cannot take magic shields (throughout all the files)
- fixed the price of the steel standard
- Added the dispel dice and casting dice pools to the Dwarfs (Question do
dwarfs get a basic casting pool of 2?)

Things NOT fixed in new version.
- alternate Dwarf armies not included.
- some Spec Characters from the GW website not included
- Renaming Runic Items (not possible as far as I can tell)
- AB not modifying stats for every rune taken if a runic item has duplicates
of the same rune.

Good evening - off to bed with me...
