Hi,

I'm french, so if you could use simples words for responses...

You can email me at delarue.jean@caramail.com or use the ML to answer
me.

My questions :
How do I, for having texts files when I've got only a file like
Orks.40k ?
Its for massives translations in French without using ABCreator.

Thanks,

Jojo =[8-)]

Define it for the race "xx" in an augment, and it'll work.

so make a new rave with prefix xx?

then put the tlmt for that race?

Or define it for a race (ra) and then attach that rule to all other races
with inhr:ra

alrighty! That works!

Thanks a lot Colen. I and the Lustria project thank you.

Chris

I suppose those would work too :)

My way would be to to define an Augment that augmented the race "xx" and
put it there, which does the same as the first thing you mentioned. I
recommend against doing that, as it requires you to remember the inhr:
attribute for every new race you create :)

hoorah :)

Yeah, there have been some major problems on this end. My DSL connection
was running at 15kb from Friday morning until last night (yes, that's 1/3
the speed of a 56Kb dial-up modem). This made it virtually impossible for
me to access stuff like the registration database (currently almost 30MB in
size). The phone company kept promising things would be working "in a few
hours", even though it took them 3.5 days to get the problem resolved. I'm
now trying to get caught up on things, so you'll be hearing back from me
shortly.

Thanks, Rob

If anything is not clear, please let me know and I'll try again. :-)

The only way to obtain a text file is by using ABCreator. You load the file
into ABCreator and then save it out as a text file. Then you edit the text
file and use ABData to convert it back to a run-time data file.
Unfortunately, the 40K files are locked, so you are not able to use
ABCreator to generate the text files. The only person who can do this is
the author of the 40K files - Colen.

Before you start this effort, please be warned that the task of translating
the data files will be very time-consuming. In addition, whenever Colen
makes updates to the 40K files, you will need to make those same updates to
your files. This process gets very difficult very quickly. :-( I recommend
talking to Colen to see if anything can be worked out with this.

Thanks, Rob

Neither Ravening Hordes nor the Manual of the game says that doing
twice attack with a repeating crossobow (dark elves) gives the -1
penalty. Why is present in the ab files? Where is stated that the
penalty will be applied even now with the new rules?
