Check out the construction kit manual (ConstKit.rtf)...
Have a look at about page 15 (or search for the word "Rounding" -
it's the first occurrence). It's got all you want to know about the
rounding options for the definition file. It also tells you all about
how to reverse engineer one and rebuild it again when your done
editing it (this bit is near the back of the manual)

Can you elaborate a little more regarding what you want to achieve
with the Necromunda files?

Russell.

It appears that you didn't read ALL of the manual.
ABCreator only
allows you to edit DATA files. There are also DEFINITION files. These are
edited as TEXT files. You use the tools ABDef and ABUndef to convert
between the text file and the run-time file. You use a normal text editor
to edit the text file. Please review the manual for more informatoin on
these tools.
Thanks, Rob

Okay, thanks. I joined it soon after the first
e-mail. I searched egroups for it and then created a
2nd edition folder and uploaded the file there. Right
now it has the most recent 2nd edition file in the
downloads section. But posting rights are nice too,
then I can let everyone know
As for the one here,
would you rather I pulled it off of here as well as no
longer updating here? Lemme know.

It's because ab2.b creates a NEW directory, army builderv2.0, instead of
placing the info into army builder v2.0 (note the space in directory name).
I copied the files over to the old directory, and have had no problems.

It appears that you didn't read ALL of the manual.

allows you to edit DATA files.

But posting rights are nice too,
then I can let everyone know

would you rather I pulled it off of here as well as no
longer updating here? Lemme know.

Subject: RE: Problem importing files
It's because ab2.b creates a NEW directory, army builderv2.0, instead of
placing the info into army builder v2.0 (note the space in directory name).
I copied the files over to the old directory, and have had no problems.

Make sure that you have V2.0b. I saw a different post somewhere about this
problem and how it's somehow resolved by V2.0b. I don't know the details.
Thanks, Rob
