SW marines who charge still get the charge bonus of +1 Attacks. SW marines
who have the True Grit (TG) skill and who are armed with bolter/ccw still
get the +1A charge bonus.

They dont, however, get the +1A bonus for having two ccw - TG allows them to
use the bolter one-handed but only if they remain stationary.

Both are US Ravening Hordes files - just done by different authors (Dave Gilbert and myself). Dave and I are combining the files into one set for the UK Ravening Hordes + future army books (just finishing the Empire). These new files should be uploaded within a day or two.

Which are the Real Raving Hoard data files. There is one folder that says Raving Hoard and there is a data file for Raving Hoard under the Warhammer Fantasy.

A friend of mine has just bought a Chinese army for use in WAB. He asked me to creat him an army list using Army Builder that I have. I have done this but notice that you can't have leaders/standards/musicians in any of their units. Is this right? Surely not!
Alec.

Maybe instead of the ability to edit the current line, just have the
ability to add an adiitional line with the store's name/contact
info/whatever. That way Armybuilder still gets advertised, and the
store can put their thing on it, too.

I guess the other way to do it currently would be to edit the army
files in the store so that the title on the Army is the store's
name? Does that sound viable?

on versions purchased for in-store use. We keep a copy running for
our players in store, and I'd love to have it print out my store name
and address, since alot of our players come in to use it to build
their armies, even when playing in tournaments elsewhere. Then *I*
could get the mileage out of it when another player with writer's
cramp asks our player, "Hey...where did you get that nifty thing?!"
and he replies, "Right here...take this copy and call this store.
They can sell ya a copy of the software for your very own." <grins>

The main reason it's there is because the printed rosters are a major
means by which other gamers see the product. They see you with your
roster, like it, ask about it, look at it, and there at the bottom is
exactly the info they need to go check AB out for themselves. It's
been there since V1.0 (more than 2 years ago), and this is the very
first time that anyone has mentioned anything negative about it -
although there have been many positive comments made about how useful
it's been to spread the word about the product. Do you honestly feel
it's an important issue?

Is there any difference between the UK and US versions of Ravening
Hordes?

Also, if I wanted to just use a US Ravening Hordes (need a US RH list
for a Campaign at a local store), which file would be best to use?

Thanks,

Jason

The best advertisement I have seen is when your fellow players are busy with
a book, pencil, and paper figuring out their army composition and cost
(spending a good portion of your valuable game time!) and you just pull out a
preprinted army roster from Army Builder! I have alot of fellow players who
then ask about the program and I must honestly say that it is the best
program I ever invested in.

How about this one. Anybody else notice the points cost differences between ravening hordes and the main rulebook yet? I'm not sure about the other lists, but compare the two Wood Elf lists. RH - Forest lord is 110 and a Mage lord is 200. Rulebook - Forest lord is 130 and a Mage lord is 140. There's a points difference in glade guard as well. I didnt' check anything else after that because i was just plain let down.

There are a lot of point costs differences in RH vs RB; there are also some
stat differences (Bret KotR S4 (RB) vs. S3 (RH) comes to mind). The GW emps
I asked last night said that they do not know what the RB stats/prices are
spposed to be for, but RH is THE official source (altho yes, there are
errors in the US RH) until X army's book comes out. Then the Army book
takes precedence. Didn't ask about units that are not in the Army Book, but
have been changed for 6th ed in RH.

There is also a difference in the allowable number of Lords in the rulebook...a Lord is allowed below <1999 pts.
