How come GW has not given permission for their games to have data files released through the Wolflair site? We all know how protective GW is about their copyrighted material but this in no way compromises their domain and if anything increases sales of their products.

I thought I did that with spec:+weap-mode=pgc (for the sword) and
spec:+ench-mode=pgc (for the pumpkin). Am I missing something?

I've gone back and checked the printout I did originally of all the
Warhammer abbreviations. *sigh* I'll have to double check that it wasn't
changed in the new datafile... didn't even think of that.
>Add the Headless Horseman and click the * button to see what magic items

It says: Regiment 'Headless Horseman' cannot currently be given any Magic
Item.
Is my format on spec wrong? I tried to edit it to what looks like a changed
format, but I get errors when I try to save it, so I haven't changed it from
my v1.4 format.

Well, that was what I tried to convey to them. It is also what every other
game company has recognized, hence the widespread endorsement of Army
Builder. However, GW's executives feel differently on the subject, so they

Fair enough. There seems to have been a lot of demand for them lately,

A list of what it has is in read40k.txt, currently residing in your

By all means, ab-files as well. It's a good way to let people know that
new ones have been released, rather than telling them to check a web

Wolves the 'Othr' group", which translated itself into "I DID give the
space wolves the 'Othr' group"
Plus several emails from imbeciles who

It'll be fixed in Beta-III, out on Saturday (probably), along with

Ooops. Sorry, I should have read things a little more closely. I've been
swamped, so I answered too quickly.
Have you verified that the unit has a value for the allowed # of items that
is equal to 2 or greater?
Thanks, Rob

This should not be the problem. If the abbreviation is wrong, ABC should
complain about an error in the syntax.

This may indicate that the unit has 0 items allowed in the "# Items" field.
This should only appear if there are no categories available OR if there
are 0 items allowed. Since the "spec" attribute assigns categories, check
the # of items allowed.

The format for "spec" hasn't really changed in V2.0, so I'm not sure why
you would be getting errors. If this persists, you are welcome to send me
the COMPLETE set of data files you are using and I'll take a look at what
might be going wrong.
Thanks, Rob

in the most resent 40k file called bata 2 has a big flaw. The
Assassin's can be taken by all space marinas , imperial guard,
sisters of battle, and all army's of the imperial forces. One
other
thing wrong with the 40k bata file is the guard. The problem is that
platoons and infantry. It will not allow me to add the two infantry
to the platoon.
For necromunda the bounty huntress Bonnie Annerson. She was very
limited miniature. The only why to get her was at special event that
games work shop had in store and some independent stores back when
the sold the game. It would be nice to have her rules in a necromunda
file.

My apologies; I thought two days ago "I really should give the Space
Wolves the 'Othr' group", which translated itself into "I DID give the
space wolves the 'Othr' group"

didn't read the faq, and there you go

It'll be fixed in Beta-III, out on Saturday (probably), along with
(finally!) a proper validation thing for checking you've not got too
many people for your vehicle.

Thanks, Rob

What's the number in the '# items' box? I.e., is it 0?

No, it looks right.

Subject: warhammer 40k file bug and necromanda
in the most resent 40k file called bata 2 has a big flaw. The
Assassin's can be taken by all space marinas , imperial guard,
sisters of battle, and all army's of the imperial forces. One
other
thing wrong with the 40k bata file is the guard.
It would be nice to have her rules in a necromunda
file.
