Do the new Harlequin rules say that my normal Farseer could use a Domino
field? Pretty awesome!!

Of course I understand this is probably a little mistake in the AB-file, and
not for real. Could 've been good though.

I'm not to sure if it was already menentoned but (Under Black Templars) if you take a Veteran squad of 10 and want them all to have BP/CCW you can only take 9 BP/CCW the other 1 is a Bolter

The latest version has this but it is still only correct up to 2999
points. I've emailed Chris, who is doing the files with a suggested
solution using xbrk and mode to get round the problem of 3000 plus point
games since from this point on you get 2 characters per 1000 points
rather than 1.

I think Colen was arranging for Chris to upload the latest version into
the vaults and notify the group. I'll upload if it isn't already there
now so it is available.

Try reading the construction kit documentation and having a look at how
the current files are constructed. There's a tutorial included with the
Construction Kit that shows you how to do basic stuff.

Currently, any unit that isn't a Harlequin Jetbike Leader OR that is a
Harlequin Jetbike leader (odd, but true) can have a Domino Field if they
have access to wargear. This was due to staff incompetence.

He's a Special Character for everyone except Templars. You have to
select "Show Special Characters" to see him. I was sure I'd added the

It'll be included in the next Mordheim release, whenever that is. Should
be relatively soon.

It's a bug. :-( I should work, but the parser is bitching about it, so I
have to fix it.

The "-race" and "-when" qualifiers were never intended to support the '!'
form. Only the "-istype" qualifier. Please check the docs, and you will
find this to be the case. Therefore, only the "-istype" is a bug. :-P

Contact the Warhammer Players Society - they have the CDs available in the
UK. Also, AB is now in distribution into the UK through a few of the major
UK distributors. Have your local shop order the product for you. I know
that Esdevium is one of the big UK distributors with AB.

I must have some from a parallel universe, then, because my -race and -
istype docs say they *do* support it (Kit manual, p43). You're right
about -when.

Also, the Clan War files use -race=!xx quite a lot :)

Yes, we can pay eGroups money to have them eliminate the advertisements. I
think they want about $100 per year for it, but I may be wrong in that
number - they sent me info about it awhile back and that's what I seem to
remember. I just completely ignore the adverts, so it doesn't bother me. Is
it really that bad??

Let me know,

Crap! You're right - I just rechecked the docs. That'll learn me! :-)

The problem with "-istype" will is slated for correction in V2.0b, which
ought to be ought in the not too distant future (I had wanted it by now,
but everything else keeps getting in the way).

It's just really annoying me. On this list it's not so bad, but I'd like
to have ab-files look just slightly professional :)

I suspect only for those using Outlook which has such a small viewing
area that you have to scroll past the adds to read the message. As my
mail comes up full screen my eye naturally alights on the text and I'm
oblivious to the adds. It's only the constant whining about them that's
annoying me :)

I know that some UNIX users have come up with a small program that
strips them out completely so avoiding them completely.
