Hello,

The quotes seem to be the problem. My Reiklanders are Sharpe's
Chosen, and the apostrophe (single quote, whatever) is the real
problem. I wondered why a "close bracket" was placed at the end of
the unit names that had quotes in them. I'll just rebuild the
warband and avoid adding any single or double quotes until you've got
the patch done.

Thanks,
Bill Le Chat

It would be an annoyance. :)

Anyone have any strong opinions on the above? I've changed the Deathwing
Masters to be not Special Characters for the next version, since they
aren't. :)

Heaven forbid :)

Probably beta. Not sure when it'll be out; I was planning to keep with
Alpha-N+1 until I got the Campaign thing working.

While I admire the sentiment and thank you for your enthusiasm, sending
me money probably isn't the way to go, for two reasons.

Minor reason: I don't want to give my bank any more money in conversion
charges from anything, because they're thieving bastards. As are all
banks.

Major reason: GW may suddenly get very annoyed that I'm being paid to
distribute their game systems, and giving them nothing for it.

Instead of sending me money, which is to be applauded but not really
encouraged, why not register some piece of shareware you use, or go out
and buy a proper version of that piece of war3z you've been using for
the last 6 months? Hell, even donate it to some charity or other.

Have you tried unzipping it into your /armybuilder/data/ directory?

It's funny, but when I was big into shareware that's exactly what I did! I
actually paid for it. Sometimes the authors were stunned.....

All of my software is paid for. I just wanted you to know that I respect
the hard work you've put into this.

One quick note about the AB files for Armageddon PDF forces. You haven't given them assassins as allies, and yet I can find nothing in codex Armageddon or codex Assassins that would preclude this. Was it just an oversight?

I said this already but I guess you were at Gen Con. I can't send you
scans, but I can send a typed up version of the list. Now, do you
want the full list or just the summary plus the special rules for
weapons, grenades, wargear and such? Also... attachment or cut n
paste?

I replied to you, but I kept getting imbecile 'mailbox full' errors.
Sort it out :)

Attachment would be nice, the full list please.
