I've seen people edit the color of the text by stat locally in order
to make quick reference checks easier. That seems to work great as
long as you don't mind the color text.
Regards,
Chris

Er, the header has only appeared at the top of each page since AT
LEAST V1.4 was released about a year ago. It may have been longer
ago. There were lots of people who complained that rosters were much
longer than necessary due to the repetition. That's why the headers
were removed and support for option descriptions as footnotes was
added.

Hope this helps,
Rob

BTW Rob (sorry if I step in) why did you take away that useful
headline (the
one with "M", "WS", etc) that previously was repeated each unit? I
find it
difficult to get the proper stat following the page up down with my
finger.

In Mordheim, for spellcasters, if you roll a spell you already have, you can
either reroll a new spell or decrease the difficulty by one. Is there any
way in army builder to indicate the reduced difficulty?

Not that this is a critism of anyone, but why dont people wait until the AB
files are announced - saves the 100+ messages about the files and their
availability. :)

Not yet. I have been waiting for Rob to get back to me on something, but
the hell with it. They'll be out tomorrow.

I suggest 2 courses of action.

1) Write it in the Notes section.
2) Wait for Army Builder 2 to come out.

:)

Not currently. This should be possible in V2.

Thanks, Rob

Hello all,
I just imported the newest psi version of the dataset
for 40K and have discovered that no HQ choices are
allowed for the space wolves army.

Anyone else have this problem? Did I not get a
complete data file?

Hi everybody ...

I'm pretty new to W40k and stumbled over Armybuilder ... it is
amazing how many options the prog offers and how many armies you can
build ... BUT ..

how do I know which datafile is up to date ? Often the points you pay
are very different from the ones I have here in a german WD.

In armybuilder the LOTD cost 20 but 25 when you believe the WD chart.

I'd ask de.rec.spiele.brett+karten (as I am german) but my newsserver
is not responding since 18.04. .. and you know how difficult it is to
find a free newsserver that allows you posting msgs :)

anyway .. thx in adv.

Michael
aka Hitcher

PS: can the LOTD join any army ?

There are two versions of the Legion of the Damned. Both are legal, they
come from different White Dwarfs.

All the other files should be 100% correct and up to date. Psi Pattern
is the latest, Omega Pattern should be out sometime this week. The Army
Builder section of http://www.skrill.org/ should have the latest version
at all times; if you're unsure, check there.

"Mr Gideon... you aren't paying attention."

There is a unit called 'HQ Unit'. Try adding it. :)

And yes, I know that whatever you select, it gets called Wolf Guard. My
bad. :(

On mine you actually have to click on HQ and then pick out which ones you
want. Hey Colin when you renamed them you forgot to put there actual names
everything was coming up as Wolf Lords. Also found Wolf Scouts couldn't
take Plasma Pistols/CCW.

Yes, sir!

Hmmmm, OK. Just threw me when I punched the HQ button
and all that came up was a blank stat line with 0
points cost.

Also, I can't get the wolfguard bodyguard to take any wargear. Oh,
yeah...the long fangs don't have a transport option and the chapter
banner is showing up in the grey hunter section instead of the wolf
guard bodyguard. I know it's a lot of hard work and I hope that I
don't sound nagging...just trying to help:)
