Item categories are restricted based on the unit category that is assigned
to each unit. Please check the definition file for which unit categories
are allowed access to each item category. Most likely, your item categories
are not allowed access by normal troops. This means that you need to
specifically assign the proper attributes to the units in order to give
them access to those item categories.

Thanks, Rob

Are you assigning a new composition that is valid for the current race? If
not, then AB will essentially ignore the attribute, as the new composition
group is illegal. Please verify that your are assigning a new group that is
valid.

Thanks, Rob

As I am informed of new data files being available, the Wolf Lair site will
be updated. However, in the case of GW games (and a couple others), you
will still have to chase them down, since GW has not yet granted
permission. The site will provide links to other sites that host data files
for game system we can't put directly on the Wolf Lair.

Thanks, Rob

Er, huh? Please point me to what you are referring to, since I'm not
understanding this question. Do you mean the exlamation that appears on the
ITEMS form???

Confused....

Ah! That means that one or more items have been pruned from the displayed
list due to conflicts with items already selected. Standard conflict groups
are used for this.

Thanks, Rob

Well, after a few weeks straight of 18+ hour days (no, I'm NOT joking), I
*THINK* that the backend web-server is finally operational. It's now into
the final stages of testing, so I hope to be able to announce V2.0 to the
world in the next 48 hours. This whole process has been plagued by a
horrific lack of USEFUL documentation (thanks Microsoft!) and lots of
surprises (largely due to worthless documentation).

Thank you for your patience, and keep your fingers crossed that there are
no more major surprises.....

Thanks, Rob

Hey Rob,

Let me be the first to say I appreciate everything you do. After all,
without your idea and hard work, most of us would still be using paper and
pencil. Thanks for it.... and I await impatiently for 2.0 ;) heh

Do the new 40k files contain the rules for them? Sorry for the
barrage of questions at once. :)
