Deluxe Rules powers missing

I have Super Powers Companion purchased and when I have it checked HL does not allow the use of power from the Core book to show up as choices. Any Idea how to fix this? I have a character that is looking to use Shape Change and has no options for it.
 
The super power comp has the Animal control power, which has an add on for chapechanger but the power want you to select a power level for control as well and will not allow the selection to be taken with out the power level choice.
Not sure why HL is stopping the use of the deluxe rules when it is checked?
 
I think it's set up that if you use the super powers companion add-on it turns the Normal Deluxe Super power rules off. It's either or, because they are set up as a different Arcane power group, your not able to use both.
 
SPC is different from the SWD core rules, they're really not meant to be used together. Instead your methods for doing a Shape Change are, as you noted, the modifier to Animal Control Power, or (what I think you may actually be looking for) Altered Form Power. Chameleon also has a shape change to inanimate objects. In any case the SWD powers really aren't balanced well for use with the SPC so I'm not sure I'd really even recommend doing that even if HL let you. In any case, though, I think that's why HL doesn't let you do that because it's actually following the rules correctly in that case.
 
Yea, What zarlor said. That's the point I was trying to make. He just said it in much simpler terms and straighter to the point. LOL
