Deleting Items

While learning, and using, HL, I have made some mistakes, such as creating a feat when it should have been a special. but even though I have deleted the feat from the .dat file, the item still remains. I think this was due to the .dat being compiled once at least.

How can i remove the old unwanted items from the compiled code?

Have done that many times but the items still exist.

what I did was created a Feat, Close Combast Shot, compiled the program, then deleted the feat. when i go to add a feat for a char, the Close Combat Shot is till there. Seems like I cant remove anything that has been added.

If the feat still persists when you reload the game system, it's still saved somewhere. Check the data files you've created under the d20 folder - one of them probably has the feat defined in it, where it needs to be deleted.
