Deleting default portfolios on iPad

I was wondering how to delete the default portfolios that are included in the initial installation of Hero Lab on an iPad Mini 4. Installed the software yesterday on a new device. Opened the software, swiped the default portfolios, selected delete, they disappeared, and they reappeared after restarted the app. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
 
Was the portfolio list empty when you closed HL after deleting them? It will put them back in, anytime the portfolio list is empty.
