Well It's happened, Windows is being typical windows and I had to
reload it. Though you can back everything up and save all the hard
work on you files, there is no way of keeping CV alive. Now am I
suppose to wait 90 days befor I can rekey CV? That hardly seems fair,
please tell me there is a way we can work around this. Thanks for
your time. I hope I don't sound to harsh, Please understand that
windows is a stress stimulint and can make one act unlike them selfs.

you can do like I did, which is request a secondary license (it's
free at the site) and use that one. If you have only one computer in
which to install CV, you can use the two licenses interchangeably

Normally, this would not even be an issue - just contact lonewolf and they
would help you out.

Unfortunately, they are both at GAMA this week, so contacting them may be a
little difficult. Search the messages database for "secondary license" since
this issue has come up before, and you will likely find Rob's instructions on
how to get your secondary license. When they get a chance to respond to your
email, I am sure Rob will help you clear your license so you can switch it to a
new machine.

I will leave the explanation for the reason for this license scheme to Rob, but
there is a *very* good reason he has this in place.

I already have a secondary license. I have my PC at work and my
LapTop, I didn't bother with my PC at home I'd much rather use my
Laptop for it witch is a lot easyer for me anyway. And it's my Laptop
that bit'it.

Due to rampant problems with software piracy, the licensing mechanism was
instituted within Card Vault as a safeguard against consumers buying one
copy and installing it on the computers of all their friends. The details
of the waiting periods were outlined in the license agreement during the
initial licensing process, and they are intended solely to protect against
piracy. Unfortunately, the limitations also are a real nuisance for honest
folks in a situation like this. :-(

Like Bob already indicated, we'll do our best to work with users that run
into this problem and get them running again. However, you'll need to
contact technical support at support@wolflair.com and provide your license
number so we can help out.

Thanks, Rob
