Data packages for Realm works

I have used to Hero lab for years now. I did not get the kickstarter but I plan on trying realm works upon it's release. We are using the rise of the Rune Lords adventure pack. Will you be releasing adventure packs for purchase? I have read a little bout some being created for people who get the kickstarter. I was wondering if you were going to release them for the rest of us?

A similar question, would you be releasing data for other Pathfinder materials? It is a lot easier to keep it altogether if it is organized (and not just by jumping from book to book).

All of the content that we're putting into Realm Works for the Kickstarter backers will be available for sale to all users. None of the pricing details have been finalized yet, so I don't have answers to that question at this time.

We have not signed any official license with Paizo yet for their APs, but my understanding is that we're very close and simply need to work out some details to make that happen.

By "other Pathfinder materials", are you referring to the various rulebooks? If so, then that's definitely something we're targeting. Realm Works is setup to make that easy and keep the "rules" separate from the campaign content, so it's a natural fit.

Holey Moley!!!
If this becomes a reality (And I am actually praying it will...well, sort of) RW will become REALLY useful for me.

As an Alpha Wolf this is a great way for LWD to squeeze more cash out of me, which I will willingly pay :D

Same here, I am currently running Rise of the Rune Lords as well. I am totally excited now.

We don't have anything further to announce specially regarding Pathfinder materials. We do have the list of content from the Kickstarter available on our website.

If we have something to announce about Pathfinder within Realm Works, we'll definitely share it on our website. :)

I know this thread has become quite Paizo centric (and I want Paizo stuff as bad as the rest of you :D) but I thought I would share this information.

I backed an (excellent) kickstarter called Rise of the Drow.
One of the stretch goals (which was fulfilled this week) was Herolab support - yay!

So I thought I would ask about whether RW support was on the cards.

Their response is on the public comments page for the kickstarter, but I am sure many of you will find it interesting ;)

I would love Rise of the Drow and Fire Mountain Games Way of the Wicked. Really want to run these with Realm Works, thinking of entering them myself, but its such a overwhelming job just thinking about it! :)

No announcements or updates on the status for RotRL. :(

If it works out a contract can be done, would it be possible for a list of steps for rolling our own using copy+paste from the PDF? I suppose that's the "best practices" thread and using the built-in starter realm as a template, but when I looked over the starter realm template, some of the tags and other things didn't quite make sense for the Pathfinder universe, or perhaps I was looking at it wrong. Oh how I so much want to pay Lone Wolf to make the pain go away!

It has been just shy of a month since Paizocon. Has there been any progress toward procuring a licence from Paizo. I am curios about the attempts to write RotRL and other content.

No updates to share right now. When we get some news that we can share, we'll definitely update everyone.

*sigh* back to waiting, being able to buy rune lords as a data package is the one thing im waiting on to really be able to get my teeth in to realm works as inputting it all is as clear as mud to me.

Its actually fairly easy. Just time consuming.

Getting scenes and whatnot is easy. Getting dungeons in takes forever.

Start off putting in chapter titles. Then drill down to scenes. The only advice I can give on dungeons is to take your time. Each room takes like three to five minutes. So foxglove manor takes about two hours or so after you get a nice haunt format played out.

Start with sometching easy like we be goblins to learn the ins and outs

Ctrl+shift+v is your best friend.

I've got the first two parts of The Wormwood Mutiny entered (I hope - game is in 23 hours), plus topics for every main map location from all six books (the map alone took quite a few hours, even with no data behind it). This AP isn't seeming to be very heavy on keyed maps, so I'm still trying to wrap my head around a good structure to use.

Even with what I have done I'd be very willing to buy a completed copy from the Content Market, whether done by Lone Wolf or Paizo. As time progresses, the ability to export data from my version to the commercial version will become more valuable.
