The raider squad allows you to take a Raider, and 10 warriors or a Raider 1 sybrite, 8 warriors. It should be a Raider, 1 sybrite and 9 warriors.
 
I am having similar trouble. In my Archon unit I have
1 archon
3 warriors and
6 incubi,
but this gives me a "too many to transport" error. Note that
my data file is up to date as of today,
and I can have 9 wyches and a succabus
on a transport without problems.
