Customizing a Race's ability score

I am starting up a Starfinder campaign soon, and I bought HLO in anticipation of it. I am wanting to put all of my players' characters into it.
One of my players chose the race: Astrazoan which is in the Pact Worlds, BUT it is not in the Pact World add-on for HLO.
So to put this character in, I need to make a custom race. After choosing the custom race option, it told me: Special abilities or ability score bonuses will need to be added with adjustments. So I went into permanent adjustments and selected the ability score point buy, but it does not seem to have affected anything. Can anyone help this newb?
 
I just tested, and I am able to make an Astrazoan in HLO using the Pact Worlds add-on, so I'm not sure why you're not able to access it if you've gotten that add-on.

If this is a character you originally created before you purchased Pact Worlds, on the Character/Settings tab, please make sure Pact Worlds is turned on for this character.
