So the druid in my Kingmaker campaign just charmed and befriended an elk that she wants to train to ride. I am attempting to make an elk moutn and am running into difficulty.

I copied the Mule and made the changes needed. Issues.

1)The minion has no race on the Minion tab.
2) The minion has no class on the Classes tab.

First time making a mount, so not sure what I am doing wrong.

As a note, the Animal Archive book puts "Herd Animal, Elk" on the list of animals to purchase on the Other tab. (You'll also need Bestiary 3 - that's where the race's stats are from).

Which editor tab's version of the Mule did you copy? The race's statline is on the Race tab in the Race grouping, the purchase info (what shows up on the Other tab to be purchased) is on the Minion/Hireling tab in the General grouping. To create a new purchasable race, you'll probably need to create both.
