Custom Monsters in the Encounter Builder

happycamper

New member
(working in 5e if it matters...)

So, I made a custom monster (not too bad)... in my current project.

How do I import it into an "encounter"? Is there a way to do this?

The encounter tool is so powerful it seems like I should be able to get my custom monster on the list of things I can add to make an encounter...

(Bonus question... when making a monster... a "kobold archer" for example, Do I call it "Kobold Archer" as its name and look that up or would I make "kobold archer" its race... ie. can I just select kobold as a race and title the name "kobold archer"...)
