Custom item help please...

Hi everyone, we play a home brew PF campaign and I've managed to get the whole group into using HL (yay!).

I've been able to use it to create most things via the standard magic item creation capability but my GM has just thrown me for a loop with a new item that I've been trying to build in the data editor. Despite much wailing and gnashing of teeth I just can't seem to get it to work although I have a suspicion that a seasoned editor would be able to crank it out with few problems.

If someone would be willing to create it for me then (a) I could look and see how it was done and (b) I'd make a donation to a charity of their choice.

The "ideal" spec would be as follows...

Sword Name:- Iomadae's Might

Benefits -

+1 Bane (Outsiders) Cold Iron Longsword

Pre-req to access additional benefits - Paladin of Iomadae and Oathbound to use the Sword when available

Holy Weapon
DR10 v Evil
Regen 5
Resist Acid 10
Resist Fire 10

+1 to hit / damage per odd level of Paladin
+1 to DR / Regen / Resist at every even Paladin level

(if the levelling calculation is too hard I'm happy to go with a fixed value I can edit at each level up)

And before anyone mentions its powerful nature this group has been gaming for nearly 30 years and we all decided we wanted a "real danger of PC death campaign" so I'm more than a little worried who we're going to be facing!!

"Oathbound to use the Sword" Is this referring to the Oathbound trait, or something else? Or is it a not enforced RP requirement?

Could also mean the Oathbound Paladin archetype, which would be a hassle since it seems that each Oath has been implemented separately in HeroLab.

It's a requirement in order to access the enhanced powers of the sword, effectively eschewing the use of any other weapons. I think there's a granted feat called iomadae sword oath?

HERE is a link to the community created Radiance sword from Wraith of the Righteous. In that AP the weapon gained additional features over time when "specific" events happened.

So it has a "counter" that you increase to represent those events. In your case I would recommend a simply "toggle" that a person can click to say they get the additional benefits.

At least its a working example that is close...
