Custom Armor

Hello. I play Pathfinder Society Core and Have a few questions.

So I recently switched from PCGen to Hero Lab while it is easier to use I have run into a problem and was wondering if someone could help me. My PC is a Ranger by the way.

1st. After converting my PC from PCGen to Hero Lab my PC's health dropped by about 7hp due to her lab re rolling my HP gains per level. I have clicked both HP options in the Configure hero but it does not let me adjust my health? is there a work around?

2. My Ranger has a +1 Mithral Shirt with DEX+1 added to it. How do I make this item in Hero lab?
I have realized the the Mithral Shirt does not exist in the Custom armor portion and the work around is a Chain shirt made of Mithral but doing that increases my AC +1 and throws off my weight and I cannot find the +1 Dex enchant.

Any Help would greatly be appreciated

Why can't you just go to the Class tab and change the HP each level?

Install the Basic Pack and turn on "ShadowChemosh Equipment" and you will then find a Mithral Shirt that you can make +1.

+1 Dex enchant.
What is a +1 Dex Enchant? Never heard of this. If its a custom "item power" that is unique to this armor you would have to create it in the Editor. This seems very strange for a Core PFS game though but I admit I am not a PFS person.

The Option to Increase my HP is not available

the +1 Dex is adding dexterity to the armor. Like getting a +2 belt of giant strength but its dexterity and on the mithral shirt. If that make any sense.

I showed it to the PFS officials to make sure its legit and they said yes

I believe you can't change your HP because PFS characters must use average HP each level instead of rolling.

The +1 to an attribute tied to a non-standard source like armor isn't something I have heard of in the core, but I guess it is possible. They are probably basing it on the section at the end of the core rulebook where they talk about designing new items or combining different effects into a single item. That's a pretty liberal ruling, for PFS, IMO, but that's between you and your GM.

In any case, I don't think we can handle ad hoc calls like this. Your best bet would be to use the editor to create a specific magic armor with the attributes you desire. There are videos on youtube, including on our channel, and support docs accessable from the editor to get you started. If you have further questions, feel free to ask on the forums!

Hope that helps!

Another way to add the Dex bonus to the Mithril shirt would be on the "Personal" tab - you could make a "permanent" adjustment to the Character of +1 DEX and record that it comes from the armour. You would have to remember to delete this if you sell the armour.
This is a quick-fix. Aaron's suggestion of using the editor is better because you have the bonus "built in" to your personalised armour.
