Creature not allowing a specific deity (with different alignment)

I tried to give a skum (creature) 6 cleric levels with Sifkesh as deity but it is not wanting to ok it and flagging it as an issue stating that it needs to be with one step (Alignment) of the god. I did change the Skum's alignment to Chaotic Evil and it is STILL not letting me :(
 
Sounds like a bug. Please report it through the usual channels and I will look at it later this week, since it is my turn to handle bugs this week. Also include any other details which might be relevant (for example, if you are useing the point based alignment system from Ultimate Campaign).
